Description
The FLG Premier Showcase is the 1st recruiting showcase of the 2019 summer season. This is a one-day showcase event held at LIU Post – Long Island University, Brookville, Long Island, for rising freshman, sophomore, junior and senior lacrosse players looking to play at the next level.

Syosset Edges Farmingdale and Advances to Nassau A County Final
The first time these teams went at it, Syosset beat Farmingdale, 13-11. Farmingdale tried to make a comeback late in the game, but they fell a little short. Farmingdale was out for vengeance, and this was a highly anticipated match-up that a lot of people were excited for. Both of these teams were fighting for a chance to make the Nassau County Class A championship game, and being that both of these teams are evenly matched, it would come down to who’s the better team for 48 minutes.

West Babylon tops West Islip to advance to the County Championship
Yesterday afternoon, we saw a very physical and competitive game between West Babylon and West Islip, with West Babylon coming out on top, 16-9.

Northport beats Smithtown East in the 2nd round of the Suffolk County Class A Playoffs
The crowd was rowdy for this battle between two tough and gritty teams and it was an old school Suffolk County class A match up. These teams played earlier in the season where Northport blew Smithtown East, 14-5, so Smithtown East was looking to redeem themselves in a win or go home situation

NCAA Highlighted First Year- Week 9 – Jack Gibbons, Mepham, Mercy
Jack Gibbons had a stellar first year for the Mavericks. The Mepham alumni had 53 points on the year for Mercy and played a pivitol role all season long!
