Massapequa gets over the hump to win their second LIC in program history
Manhasset defeats Harborfields to win their first LIC since 2015
As soon as the whistle blew on the first face off of the game, the Manhasset Indians dominated this game and never looked back. Manhasset was coming off a double overtime thrilling victory over Garden City, and the momentum they gained in that game continued in the LIC.
NCAA Division 1 Championship Weekend
The Stage is set as the Virginia Cavaliers, Yale Bulldogs, Duke Blue Devils and Penn State Nittany Lions are all headed to Championship weekend. LILJ is highlighting the Top LI Talent for each team.

The FLG Premier Showcase is the 1st recruiting showcase of the 2019 summer season. This is a one-day showcase event held at LIU Post – Long Island University, Brookville, Long Island, for rising freshman, sophomore, junior and senior lacrosse players looking to play at the next level.

Syosset Edges Farmingdale and Advances to Nassau A County Final
The first time these teams went at it, Syosset beat Farmingdale, 13-11. Farmingdale tried to make a comeback late in the game, but they fell a little short. Farmingdale was out for vengeance, and this was a highly anticipated match-up that a lot of people were excited for. Both of these teams were fighting for a chance to make the Nassau County Class A championship game, and being that both of these teams are evenly matched, it would come down to who’s the better team for 48 minutes.
West Babylon tops West Islip to advance to the County Championship
Yesterday afternoon, we saw a very physical and competitive game between West Babylon and West Islip, with West Babylon coming out on top, 16-9.
Northport beats Smithtown East in the 2nd round of the Suffolk County Class A Playoffs
The crowd was rowdy for this battle between two tough and gritty teams and it was an old school Suffolk County class A match up. These teams played earlier in the season where Northport blew Smithtown East, 14-5, so Smithtown East was looking to redeem themselves in a win or go home situation
