Goalies get coached by a goalie — not by a field coach who took the position over because someone had to. FLG’s goalie programme is led by Christian Michaels, and every goalie who earns a spot on a select team gets the full programme as part of her team membership.

A custom Cascade helmet
Every goalie who makes a select team receives a custom Cascade helmet with FLG decals and a throat guard.
Dedicated on-field sessions
Four or more in the autumn, eight indoor sessions through the winter, and six or more in spring and summer.
Seasonal Zoom sessions
Goalie IQ: film study, positioning, communication and the mental side of the position.
An alumni mentorship network
FLG goalies are connected with alumni who have played in college and been through recruiting.
