1. Why did you choose to commit to this college?
I started off my college career playing at Endicott College in Beverly
Massachusetts. It was a small D3 school that was very competitive but after being there
for two years I realized that Endicott wasn’t really a good fit for me. Luckily while
playing in a summer men’s league a couple guys I had played with and against asked me
if I’d consider transferring to Limestone College where they all played. After talking to
them about it extensively and hearing how passionate they were about the program I
decided why not and decided to finish my remaining three years of eligibility down in
good Ol’ Gaffney South Carolina. It was the brotherhood they always talked about that
really sold me on becoming a Saint.
2. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone younger than you, going through the
same process?
Talk to every coach you can, its an honor to be recruited treat the process like
that. Also don’t be afraid to transfer if you don’t like the school you’re at, you never
know what awaits you else where.
3. What was your favorite part about playing for the FLG lacrosse program?
The bonds I formed with the coaches. While I stay in touch with a couple
of my teammates it has been my coaches I have stayed the closest with. They are
always eager to help me out in anyway possible and answer any question I come
up with on anything from life to coaching.
4. What peaks your interest outside of school and lacrosse?
College football (Go Canes!) and Finance, always thinking about $$$.
5. If you were stranded on a deserted island and you can only have one thing, what would it
be (you have food and water)?
Definitely twitter cause its true the best things in life are free.
6. If you had to choose one super power to have, what would it be and why?
It would be super speed like the Flash, So I could maximize my sleep time and
still make it to work on time.
7. What are some of your pregame rituals and/or game day superstitions?
My senior year at Limestone I would listen to the same DJ set before every game and stop it
right at the same point every time before our coach would come in for his pregame speech.
Only time I didn’t do it we lost.
8. What is your favorite surface to play on? Turf or grass?
A nice grass field beats turf every time.
9. What is your favorite breakfast meal?
If I’m on the Island it’s always an egg sandwich but since I live in South Carolina
now it’s definitely Chicken Biscuits and gravy (don’t knock it till you try it)
10. What athlete do you idolize the most?
Sean Taylor
11. What is your favorite genre of music?
Late 90’s Early 2000’s metal
12. What is your favorite quote?
E.T.S embrace the suck
13. Who you look up to the most in life?
Definitely my dad
14.Where do you see yourself after college?
I’ve been out of school now for two years but never in my 5 years of school did I imagine
I’d be a Finical Advisor helping people manage their money and planning for their
future/retirement, life is crazy like that sometimes.
