FLG 2027 Navy — Elite Select Program
The FLG 2027 Navy is an elite, high-performance select team built for Class of 2027 athletes who want to compete and train at the highest level. Led by a coaching staff with Division I playing credentials, national championship experience, and active college-level coaching roles, this program delivers rigorous year-round training, early college recruiting exposure, and the championship culture that has placed 70+ FLG players into college programs since 2017. If your daughter is serious about reaching her potential and playing college lacrosse, this is where her journey begins.
Dawn Sachs Head Coach / Girls Director of Recruiting, FLG Lacrosse
Dawn Sachs serves as Head Coach of Mercy University and Girls Director of Recruiting for FLG Lacrosse, bringing more than two decades of championship-level playing and coaching experience to the program. A two-time national champion as a player and a five-time Conference Coach of the Year as a head coach at Mercy University.
Janine Pirone Assistant Coach
Janine brings elite-level coaching experience and a championship-caliber standard to the FLG 2027 Navy program. She drives players to compete at their highest level and demands excellence in both skill execution and competitive mentality.
Corey Winkoff Program Director, FLG Lacrosse
Corey Winkoff is the Program Director of FLG Lacrosse, the program he has led since 2011. A lifelong Long Islander and passionate advocate for youth development, Winkoff has built FLG into one of the region’s premier club programs by combining elite on-field training with an unwavering focus on character, education, and long-term player development.

*All goalies who make an FLG select team will receive a custom Cascade goalie helmet with decals and throat guard

Lisa Christiansen, former USA goalie coach and long time collegiate/high school varsity coach, will train all our FLG goalies throughout the year. Not only will she offer exclusive on field goalie training, Lisa will run season goalie zoom sessions, connect our girls with alumni mentors from the program, and attend practices throughout the year to further develop our goalies.

FLG has placed 70+ players into college programs since 2017 across all three NCAA divisions.
