The FLG 2031 is a high-level select team for Class of 2031 players committed to excellence on and off the field. This program combines rigorous skill development, elite coaching, and direct college recruiting support to help every athlete maximize their potential and earn the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
Corey Winkoff
Head Coach / Program Director, FLG Lacrosse
Corey Winkoff is the Program Director of FLG Lacrosse, the program he has led since 2011. A lifelong Long Islander and passionate advocate for youth development, Winkoff has built FLG into one of the region’s premier club programs by combining elite on-field training with an unwavering focus on character, education, and long-term player development.
Dawn Sachs
Assistant Coach / Girls Director of Recruiting, FLG Lacrosse
Dawn Sachs serves as Head Coach of Mercy University and Girls Director of Recruiting for FLG Lacrosse, bringing more than two decades of championship-level playing and coaching experience to the program. A two-time national champion as a player and a five-time Conference Coach of the Year as a head coach at Mercy University.
Christian Michaels
Associate Head Coach / Director of Player Development
Christian is a 2x USILA All-American goalkeeper, 2025 ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, and Molloy University’s all-time program leader in career saves. He is a 4x All-Conference selection and 2025 ECC Conference Champion. Christian is also Co-Founder of Supreme Lacrosse Academy and an assistant coach for St. Anthony’s Girls Varsity. Christian Michaels, Goalie Coach & Director of Player Development, will train all our FLG goalies throughout the year. Not only will he offer exclusive on field goalie training, Christian will run seasonal goalie zoom sessions, connect our players with alumni mentors from the program, and attend practices throughout the year to further develop our goalies.
