1. Why did you choose to commit to this college?

I chose to commit to Yale University because of the incredible academic opportunity that the school provided, along with the chance to play lacrosse at a high level under an amazing coaching staff.
2. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone younger than you, going through the same process?
I’d tell younger guys to try to be patient during this process and really explore multiple schools even if they’re not initially on your radar of schools that you think that you will attend. You’d be surprised at how much you can like (or dislike) a school once you have a chance to visit, and really get a grasp of everything the school has to offer. I’d also tell them to make sure they can see themselves at that school if they weren’t on the lacrosse team. Your college experience will be so much more than just being a lacrosse player, so it’s important to make sure you’ll enjoy yourself in other settings and become involved in other aspects of the school throughout your time in college.
3. What was your favorite part about playing for the FLG lacrosse program?
My favorite part of playing for the FLG program was having coaches that really cared about my well-being and were invested in what was best for me both as a player, and more importantly, as a person. Also, the friendships that I formed during my summers playing with FLG are some that I will have for a lifetime.
4. What peaks your interest outside of school and lacrosse?
I enjoy just hanging out with my friends and family, and watching sports.
5. If you were stranded on a deserted island and you can only have one thing, what would it be (you have food and water)?
Something that I can use to listen to my music with.
6. If you had to choose one super power to have, what would it be and why?
I’d choose the power to control minds. I’d pretty much be able to do whatever I want, whenever I want.
7. What are some of your pregame rituals and/or game day superstitions?
I always make sure to eat at the same location the day before a game. I also have to get my cleats spatted before each game, and listen to hip-hop until about 20 minutes before heading to the field.
8. What is your favorite surface to play on? Turf or grass?
Nothing beats the muddy, fairly unkept grass field of George Craig Field (at Baldwin High School).
9. What is your favorite breakfast meal?
Can’t go wrong with some grits, eggs, sausage and bacon. Maybe with a side of toast or a biscuit as well.
10. What athlete do you idolize the most?
LeBron James
11. What is your favorite genre of music?
Hip-Hop
12. What is your favorite quote?
“I’m a savage! Whatever I want I have to get!” – P-Diddy
13. Who do you look up to the most in life?
My parents. They’re both very cool and hardworking people that I admire a tremendous amount.
14. Where do you see yourself after college?
Hopefully in medical school.
