LILJ Top 10 Performers – Week 1

Anthony Caputo, Clarke HS, the Pace bound senior dropped 10 in the season opener

The season is under way! LILJ will be highlighting 10 players on a weekly basis who are absolutely ripping it up on Long Island. Good Luck to all teams in the season openers and we look forward to covering all teams and their top student athletes this spring! To see the list…

  1. Joey Spallina, Mt. Sinai: 24 points on the season, Spallina has been going off, dropping 10 points against Commack and 8 against Half Hollow Hills West
  2. Mitchell Kozak, Floral Park: The UMBC bound Senior has 19 points on the season, 2g 3a coming from a close game against South Side
  3. Isabelle Vitale, CSH: 12 points on the year, Vitale is a dominant force on the offensive end for the Seahawks
  4. Danny Caddigan, Smithtown West: Caddigan tears up top Nassau competition, producing 3 points against GC and 8 against Wantagh
  5. Anthony Caputo, Clarke: Pace bound senior is an absolute BEAST with 17 points on the year showing that he can do it all
  6. Desiree Kleberg, Whitman: Quinnipiac bound senior has been showing she’s a force on the field with 14 points in two games.
  7. Jack Monfort, Syosset: Yale lacrosse commit drop 4 against powerhouse CSH and has already secured a game OT winner in thrilling fashion against South Side.
  8. Chris Annito, St. John the Baptist: Showing that he can keep his team in tight games, Annito has 7 points in two games.
  9. Emma Soccodato, Kellenberg: Left it all out on the field, in season opener against a talented Plainedge team, finding the back of the net 5 times.
  10. Cat Deutsch, Commack: 2-0 on the year, Commack is off to a great start and it all starts with goalkeeper Cat Deutsch, 13 saves on the year.
