Talent. That is literally the only word to describe this list. A difficult one to select, here is LILJs Top 25 Current Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Players from Long Island. LILJ looked at numerous criteria to select the players on this list. From stats and accolades, to academics and consistency, the players on this list have demonstrated all the qualities as to what it takes to be the not only the best from Long Island, but the best in the country.

1 Jack Tigh: Senior Midfield, Chaminade, Yale

A First Team All-Ivy League Champion, The National Champion is unstoppable. His speed and agility allows him to get down the alley and let it rip. Third Team All- American, Tigh looks to lead the Bulldogs to another successful season. 

2 Ian Laviano: Sophomore Attack, CSH, Virginia

Described by his coaches as a “Dynamic Weapon,” Laviano was top 3 on UVA for points with 43. His 16 starts on his freshman campaign earned ACC Offensive Player of the Weekly honors.

3 Daniel Bucaro: Senior Attack, Ward Melville, Georgetown

Big East Champion, Bucaro was a Honorable Mention All- American and Tewaaraton Award Nominee. The Big East First Team Selection, had 55 points a season ago and because the 22nd player in Georgetown to reach 100 career points.

4 Mac O’ Keefe: Junior Attack, Syosset, Penn State

First Team A Big Ten and an Honorable Mention All- American, Mac O’ Keefe is a stretch shooter. The Nittany Lion is a goal scorer from all over the offensive zone

5 Chris Gray: Sophomore Attack, SWR, Boston

Chris Gray had a breakout year as a freshman for the Terriers. Named an Honorable Mention All- American, Gray is on the Tewaaraton Watch list and led Boston with 71 points on the year.

6 Connor Desimone: Sophomore Midfield, Smithtown East, Johns Hopkins

7 Jack McCulloh: Senior Midfield, Ward Melville, Cornel

8 Kieran Mullins: Junior Attack, Islip, Rutgers

9 Sean Sconone: Senior Goalie, East Islip, UMass

10 Gerard Arceri: Junior Midfield, Smithtown East, Penn State

11 Alex Concannon: Senior Midfield, Syosset, Johns Hopkins

12 Ryan Bray: Senior SSDM, SWR, Cornell

13 Kevin Mack: Sophomore Attack, Manhasset, Michigan

14 Matt Deluca: Junior Goalie, Farmingdale, Delaware

15 Matthew Varian: Junior Attack, Long Beach, Drexel

16 Nick Spillane: Senior Midfield, Carey, Penn State

17 Matt Borges: Senior Defense, Garden City, Ohio State

18 Zach Clemente: Junior Midfield, ESM, Monmouth
