NCAA Division 3 Men’s Top Lacrosse Players from Long Island

A large talent pool, here is the Top Players from Long Island playing Division 3 College Lacrosse. A difficult list to pick as there are so many incredible school that have Division 3 programs. LILJ looked at numerous criteria to select the players on this list. From stats and accolades, to academics and consistency, the players on this list have demonstrated all the qualities as to what it takes to be the not only the best from Long Island, but the best in the country.  

1 Carther Hawthorne- Senior Attack, Massapequa, Wesleyan

With 92 career points, the Massapequa native is a standout for Wesleyan and is looking to an incredible season. Hawthorne controls the offense for the Cardinals and is known to get it done in big situations.

2 Danny Murphy- Senior Attack, Hauppauge, Tufts

Murphy had an unbelievable junior campaign, earning 100 points a season ago, the leader in the NESCAC. The First teamer is looking to have another great year.  

3 Luke Keating- Sophomore Attack, Garden City, F and M  

Honorable Mention All- American, Keting was the CC Rookie of the Year and was Second Team All- CC in his freshman year.

5 Connor Crosson- Senior Midfield, Cold Spring Harbor, Ithaca

An Honorable Mention All- American and First Team Liberty League a season ago, Crosson totaled 46 points and has been a contributor for the Bombers is he stepped on campus.

5 Ryan Ozsvath- Junior Attack, Hills West, Ithaca

Ranked second on the team in goals, and had 40 points on they year, The Junior attackman has had a great first year as a Bomber.

6 Jared Strauss- Sophomore Midfield, Hewlett/Deerfield, Williams

7 Ethan Grossman- Sophomore Attack, Hewlett, Muhlenberg

8 Tommy Nash- Junior Midfield, Massapequa, Springfield

9 Dean Peluso- Senior Midfield, Levittown MacArthur, Stevens Tech

10 Sean Seaberg- Senior Defense, West Islip, Ithaca

11 Joey Panariello- Senior Midfield, Islip, Cortland  

12 Scott Irwin- Senior Midfield, Chaminade, Wesleyan

13 Sean Mcswiggan- Junior Attack, Massapequa, Misericordia

14 Clay Hunt- Junior Defense, Old Brookville/Choate, Middlebury

15 Patrick Gibbons- Senior Attack, Garden City, Vassar

16 Will Reed- Sophomore Midfield, Cold Spring Harbor, Stevens Tech

17 Aj Sandorfi- Junior Attack, Kellenberg/Nassau, Farmingdale State

18 John Broderick- Senior Defense, Chaminade, W and L

19 Matt Huber- Senior Midfield, Great River, St. Anthony’s

20 Brogan Mahon-  Senior Midfield, Chaminade, Amherst

21 Brendan Lyons- Sophomore Attack, Syosset, Western New England

22 John McMahon- Junior Midfield, West Babylon, Farmingdale

23 Connor Griffin- Sophomore Attack, Sachem North, Geneseo  

24 Kyle Tucker- Sophomore Attack, Massapequa, Cabrini

25 Jude Marzec- Junior Attack, West Islip, Roger Williams

James Ragland- Senior Midfied, Seaford, Farmingdale State

Matthew Beck- Senior Goalie, Massapequa, Misericordia

Patrick Dean- Senior Goalie, Westhampton Beach, Endicott

Dan Wood- Senior Goalie, East Meadow/Nassau, Farmingdale State

Conor McAvoy- Senior Midfield, Ward Melville/ Nassau, Farmingdale State
