LILJ is Growing! Who’s Behind it All?!

This fall, the LILJ has expanded its team to include five aspiring young professionals pursuing a career in the world of sports. Read below to learn more about who’s behind the content, the stories, the media, and expanding coverage of Long Island lacrosse!

I’m Mike Moriates, I’m 20 years old and I am a Media and Marketing intern here for the LILJ. I am currently a junior working towards a Bachelors degree in Sports Management major at Farmingdale State College. The LILJ is a really good fit for me because it has given me a great opportunity to be able to continue to learn and grow in the sports business industry.

I’m Bryce Holden 21 years old and currently a senior at NYU. I am a media and marketing intern at the LILJ, and my chief responsibility consists of setting up the LILJ weekly newsletter and producing the weekly content on our LILJ website.

My name is Anthony Barbara I am currently a senior at Farmingdale State College working toward a bachelors degree in sports management. My position here at LILJ is sales and marketing. I work with our sales team to partner with local businesses and promote their brands on our LILJ social platforms, including our website, social media, live show, newsletter, and digital magazine. I’ve also written some recap articles on high school teams all across Long Island.

My name is Marlon Marshall I am from Wyandanch, New York. I graduated from the Upper Room Christian School in 1992. I joined the U.S. Navy in 1994, and served for 20 years. I am currently retired and attending school full-time. I expect to graduate in May of 2020 with a BA in sports management.

Hi I’m Alex Nobles I’m a senior at St.Johns University studying Sport Management with a minor in Business. I work on social media, video editing, content creation for the LILJ.
